Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare a garnish of a lemon wedge.

Shake the Irish whiskey, cognac, grenadine, rich sugar syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and egg white (or chosen alternative) with ice, then strain back into the shaker.

Dry shake the mixture without ice to create a rich froth.

Fine strain the drink into the chilled cocktail coupe.

Garnish with the lemon wedge on the rim.
