Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a pear wedge for garnish.

Shake all ingredients with ice vigorously to combine.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass.

Garnish with the pear wedge positioned on the rim.
