Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish by cutting a chunk of artichoke.

Stir the Tennessee whiskey, Cynar or other carciofo amaro, and Americano bianco with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Garnish with the artichoke chunk placed on the rim of the glass.
