Select an Old Fashioned glass and ensure it is pre-chilled.

Rim the glass with salt by moistening the outside edge with either lime or orange juice, then dipping it into salt.

Prepare a garnish by slicing a wheel of blood orange.

Shake the blanco tequila, triple sec, Strucchi Red Bitter, blood orange juice, lime juice, and rich sugar syrup with ice until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
