Jasper's Rum Punch

Select and pre-chill a highball glass.

Prepare a garnish with a speared lime wheel, Luxardo Maraschino cherry (sail), and a bouquet of mint sprigs.

Pour the overproof white rum, freshly squeezed lime juice, rich sugar syrup, and Angostura Aromatic Bitters into the chilled glass.

Add crushed ice to fill two-thirds of the glass and swizzle the mixture.

Add more crushed ice to fill the glass completely and swizzle once again.

Garnish with the prepared lime wheel and cherry sail, along with the mint sprigs bouquet.

Finish with a light dusting of freshly grated nutmeg over the top.
