Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare a garnish of freshly grated cinnamon and nutmeg.

Beat the whole egg and pour it into a shaker.

Add the straight rye whiskey, Yellow Chartreuse or génépy liqueur, Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur, and rich sugar syrup to the shaker.

Shake with ice vigorously, then strain the mixture back into the shaker.

Dry shake the contents without ice to fully emulsify the ingredients.

Fine strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe glass.

Dust the top of the cocktail with freshly ground nutmeg and cinnamon.
