Muddle the lemon peel and sugar with a dash of soda water in an Old Fashioned glass.

Fill the glass with cracked ice.

Add the cognac, Amontillado sherry, and port.

Stir until the glass is frosted on the outside.

Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg.
