Demerara Dry Float

For passion fruit syrup, thaw frozen passion fruit pulp and mix it with an equal amount of prepared 1:1 simple syrup. Shake all listed cocktail liquids except the overproof Demerara rum with ice, strain into a double old fashioned glass over crushed ice and float the separate listed overproof rum portion on top.
