Chill the cocktail coupe by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal, sweet vermouth, amaro, crème de mure, and a few dashes of bitters.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled.

Discard the ice or water from the coupe glass if used for chilling.

Strain the shaken mixture into the frozen coupe glass.
