Boston Winter

Muddle a slice of ginger with the Japanese whisky and herbal liqueur in a mixing glass, allowing it to rest for a brief period.

Add the simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Angostura bitters, and orange bitters into the mixing glass.

Fill the glass with ice and stir until the mixture is well-chilled.

Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass over a fresh ice cube.

Optionally, garnish with a piece of candied ginger for an extra touch.
