Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Chill a cocktail coupe in advance to ensure it is perfectly cold for serving.

Prepare a garnish by slicing a wedge of pineapple to adorn the rim of the glass.

In a shaker filled with ice, combine the Havana Club Añejo 7 Años Cuban Rum, pineapple juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, grenadine or pomegranate syrup, and rich sugar syrup.

Vigorously shake the mixture to blend the flavors and chill the cocktail.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled cocktail coupe.

Garnish with the prepared pineapple wedge and serve immediately.
