Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Use these specified component styles: Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old).

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare a garnish with a twist of lemon zest. Optionally, include an edible viola flower.

Blend the light white rum, Giffard Parfait Amour liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, rich sugar syrup, and Difford's Margarita Bitters with a scoop of crushed ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled coupe.

Express the lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use it as a garnish, or discard it and adorn with the viola flower.
