Use honey syrup made with 3 parts honey to 1 part water by weight for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare a lemon zest twist for garnish.

Shake the Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, Yellow Chartreuse or génépy liqueur, honey syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, orange bitters by Angostura, and saline solution with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.

Express the lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use it as a garnish.
